Chapter 1 ¹ In the beginning𐤁𐤓𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤕 God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 created𐤁𐤓𐤀 𐤀𐤕 the heaven𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 and𐤅𐤀𐤕 the earth.𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 ΕΝ ΑΡΧΗ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν. ² And the earth𐤅𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 was𐤄𐤉𐤕𐤄 without form,𐤕𐤄𐤅 and void;𐤅𐤁𐤄𐤅 and darkness𐤅𐤇𐤔𐤊 was upon the face𐤐𐤍𐤉 of the deep.𐤕𐤄𐤅𐤌 And the Spirit𐤅𐤓𐤅𐤇 of God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 moved𐤌𐤓𐤇𐤐𐤕 upon𐤏𐤋 the face𐤐𐤍𐤉 of the waters.𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 ἡ δὲ γῆ ἦν ἀόρατος καὶ ἀκατασκεύαστος, καὶ σκότος ἐπάνω τῆς ἀβύσσου· καὶ πνεῦμα θεοῦ ἐπεφέρετο ἐπάνω τοῦ ὕδατος. ³ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let there be𐤉𐤄𐤉 light:𐤀𐤅𐤓 and there was light.𐤀𐤅𐤓 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Γενηθήτω φῶς· καὶ ἐγένετο φῶς. ⁴ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 𐤀𐤕 the light,𐤄𐤀𐤅𐤓 that𐤊𐤉 it was good: and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 divided𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤃𐤋 𐤁𐤉𐤍 the light𐤄𐤀𐤅𐤓 from𐤅𐤁𐤉𐤍 the darkness.𐤄𐤇𐤔𐤊 καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ φῶς ὅτι καλόν· καὶ διεχώρισεν ὁ θεὸς ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ σκότους. ⁵ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 called𐤅𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 the light𐤋𐤀𐤅𐤓 Day,𐤉𐤅𐤌 and the darkness𐤅𐤋𐤇𐤔𐤊 he called𐤒𐤓𐤀 Night.𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the first𐤀𐤇𐤃 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ φῶς ἡμέραν, καὶ τὸ σκότος ἐκάλεσεν νύκτα. καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα μία. ⁶ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let there be a firmament𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 in the midst𐤁𐤕𐤅𐤊 of the waters,𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 and let it divide𐤌𐤁𐤃𐤉𐤋 the waters𐤌𐤉𐤌 from the waters.𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤌 Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Γενηθήτω στερέωμα ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ ὕδατος, καὶ ἔστω διαχωρίζον ἀνὰ μέσον ὕδατος καὶ ὕδατος· καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ⁷ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 made𐤅𐤉𐤏𐤔 the firmament,𐤄𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 and divided𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤃𐤋 the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 which𐤀𐤔𐤓 were under𐤌𐤕𐤇𐤕 the firmament𐤋𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 from the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 which𐤀𐤔𐤓 were above𐤌𐤏𐤋 the firmament:𐤋𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 and it was so.𐤊𐤍 καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ στερέωμα· καὶ διεχώρισεν ὁ θεὸς ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ ὕδατος ὃ ἦν ὑποκάτω τοῦ στερεώματος, καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ἐπάνω τοῦ στερεώματος. ⁸ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 called𐤅𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 the firmament𐤋𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 Heaven.𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the second𐤔𐤍𐤉 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὸ στερέωμα οὐρανόν· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν. καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα δευτέρα. ⁹ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 under the heaven𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 be gathered together𐤉𐤒𐤅𐤅 unto𐤀𐤋 one𐤀𐤇𐤃 place,𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤌 and let the dry𐤄𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤄 land appear:𐤅𐤕𐤓𐤀𐤄 and it was so. Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Συναχθήτω τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑποκάτω τοῦ οὐρανοῦ εἰς συναγωγὴν μίαν, καὶ ὀφθήτω ἡ ξηρά· καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. καὶ συνήχθη τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ὑποκάτω τοῦ οὐρανοῦ εἰς τὰς συναγωγὰς αὐτῶν, καὶ ὤφθη ἡ ξηρά. ¹⁰ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 called𐤅𐤉𐤒𐤓𐤀 the dry𐤋𐤉𐤁𐤔𐤄 land Earth;𐤀𐤓𐤑 and the gathering together𐤅𐤋𐤌𐤒𐤅𐤄 of the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 called𐤒𐤓𐤀 he Seas:𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 that it was good. καὶ ἐκάλεσεν ὁ θεὸς τὴν ξηρὰν γῆν, καὶ τὰ συστέματα τῶν ὑδάτων ἐκάλεσεν θαλάσσας· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν. ¹¹ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let the earth𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 bring forth𐤕𐤃𐤔𐤀 grass,𐤃𐤔𐤀 the herb𐤏𐤔𐤁 yielding𐤌𐤆𐤓𐤉𐤏 seed,𐤆𐤓𐤏 and the fruit𐤐𐤓𐤉 tree𐤏𐤑 yielding𐤏𐤔𐤄 fruit𐤐𐤓𐤉 after his kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤅 whose𐤀𐤔𐤓 seed𐤆𐤓𐤏𐤅 is in itself, upon the earth:𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and it was so. καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Βλαστησάτω ἡ γῆ βοτάνην χόρτου, σπεῖρον σπέρμα κατὰ γένος καὶ καθ’ ὁμοιότητα, καὶ ξύλον κόρπιμον ποιοῦν καρπόν, οὗ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ κατὰ γένος εἰς ὁμοιότητα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ¹² And the earth𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 brought forth𐤅𐤕𐤅𐤑𐤀 grass,𐤃𐤔𐤀 and herb𐤏𐤔𐤁 yielding𐤌𐤆𐤓𐤉𐤏 seed𐤆𐤓𐤏 after his kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤅 and the tree𐤅𐤏𐤑 yielding𐤏𐤔𐤄 fruit,𐤐𐤓𐤉 whose seed𐤆𐤓𐤏𐤅 was in itself, after his kind:𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤅 and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 that it was good. καὶ ἐξήνεγκεν ἡ γῆ βοτάνην χόρτου, σπεῖρον σπέρμα κατὰ γένος καὶ καθ’ ὁμοιότητα, καὶ ξύλον κάρπιμον ποιοῦν καρπόν, οὗ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτοῦ ἐν αὐτῷ κατὰ γένος ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν. ¹³ And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the third𐤔𐤋𐤉𐤔𐤉 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα τρίτη. ¹⁴ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let there be lights𐤌𐤀𐤓𐤕 in the firmament𐤁𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 of the heaven𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 to divide𐤋𐤄𐤁𐤃𐤉𐤋 the day𐤄𐤉𐤅𐤌 from the night;𐤄𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 and let them be for signs,𐤋𐤀𐤕𐤕 and for seasons,𐤅𐤋𐤌𐤅𐤏𐤃𐤉𐤌 and for days,𐤅𐤋𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 and years:𐤅𐤔𐤍𐤉𐤌 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Γενηθήτωσαν φωστῆρες ἐν τῷ στερεώματι τοῦ οὐρανοῦ εἰς φαῦσιν τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἄρχεῖν τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ τῆς νυκτὸς καὶ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς νυκτός· καὶ ἔστωσαν εἰς σημεῖα καὶ εἰς καιροὺς καὶ εἰς ἡμέρας καὶ εἰς ἐνιαυτούς· ¹⁵ And let them be for lights𐤋𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤓𐤕 in the firmament𐤁𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 of the heaven𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 to give light𐤋𐤄𐤀𐤉𐤓 upon the earth:𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and it was so. καὶ ἔστωσαν εἰς φαῦσιν ἐν τῷ στερεώματι τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ὥστε φαίνειν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ¹⁶ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 made𐤅𐤉𐤏𐤔 two𐤔𐤍𐤉 great𐤄𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤉𐤌 lights;𐤄𐤌𐤀𐤓𐤕 the greater𐤄𐤂𐤃𐤋 light𐤄𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤓 to rule𐤋𐤌𐤌𐤔𐤋𐤕 the day,𐤄𐤉𐤅𐤌 and the lesser𐤄𐤒𐤈𐤍 light𐤄𐤌𐤀𐤅𐤓 to rule𐤋𐤌𐤌𐤔𐤋𐤕 the night:𐤄𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 he made the stars𐤄𐤊𐤅𐤊𐤁𐤉𐤌 also. καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τοὺς δύο φωστῆρας τοὺς μεγάλους, τὸν φωστῆρα τὸν μέγαν εἰς ἀρχὰς τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ τὸν φωστῆρα τὸν ἐλάσσω εἰς ἀρχὰς τῆς νυκτός, καὶ τοὺς ἀστέρας. ¹⁷ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 set𐤅𐤉𐤕𐤍 them in the firmament𐤁𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 of the heaven𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 to give light𐤋𐤄𐤀𐤉𐤓 upon the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 καὶ ἔθετο αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς ἐν τῷ στερεώματι τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ὥστε φαίνειν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ¹⁸ And to rule𐤅𐤋𐤌𐤔𐤋 over the day𐤁𐤉𐤅𐤌 and over the night,𐤅𐤁𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄 and to divide𐤅𐤋𐤄𐤁𐤃𐤉𐤋 the light𐤄𐤀𐤅𐤓 from the darkness:𐤄𐤇𐤔𐤊 and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 that it was good. καὶ ἄρχειν τῆς ἡμέρας καὶ τῆς νυκτός, καὶ διαχωρίζειν ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τοῦ σκότους· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλόν. ¹⁹ And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the fourth𐤓𐤁𐤉𐤏𐤉 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα τετάρτη. ²⁰ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 bring forth abundantly𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤑𐤅 the moving creature𐤔𐤓𐤑 that hath𐤍𐤐𐤔 life,𐤇𐤉𐤄 and fowl𐤅𐤏𐤅𐤐 that may fly𐤉𐤏𐤅𐤐𐤐 above𐤏𐤋 the earth𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 in the open𐤐𐤍𐤉 firmament𐤓𐤒𐤉𐤏 of heaven.𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Ἑξαγαγέτω τὰ ὕδατα ἑρπετὰ ψυχῶν ζωσῶν καὶ πετεινὰ πετόμενα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κατὰ τὸ στερέωμα του οὐρανοῦ • καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ²¹ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 created𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤀 great𐤄𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤉𐤌 whales,𐤄𐤕𐤍𐤉𐤍𐤌 and every living𐤄𐤇𐤉𐤄 creature𐤍𐤐𐤔 that moveth,𐤄𐤓𐤌𐤔𐤕 which the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 brought forth abundantly,𐤔𐤓𐤑𐤅 after their kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤌 and every winged𐤊𐤍𐤐 fowl𐤏𐤅𐤐 after his kind:𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤅 and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 that it was good. καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ κήτη τὰ μεγάλα καὶ πᾶσαν ψυχὴν ζῴων ἑρπετῶν, ἃ ἐξήγαγεν τὰ ὕδατα κατὰ γένη αὐτῶν, καὶ πᾶν πετεινὸν πτερωτὸν κατὰ γένος· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλά. ²² And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 blessed𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤊 them, saying,𐤋𐤀𐤌𐤓 Be fruitful,𐤐𐤓𐤅 and multiply,𐤅𐤓𐤁𐤅 and fill𐤅𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤅 the waters𐤄𐤌𐤉𐤌 in the seas,𐤁𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤌 and let fowl𐤅𐤄𐤏𐤅𐤐 multiply𐤉𐤓𐤁 in the earth.𐤁𐤀𐤓𐤑 καὶ ηὐλόγησεν αὐτὰ ὁ θεὸς λέγων Αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε, καὶ πληρώσατε τὰ ὕδατα ἐν ταῖς θαλάσσαις, καὶ τὰ πετεινὰ πληθυνέσθωσαν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. ²³ And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the fifth𐤇𐤌𐤉𐤔𐤉 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ εγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα πέμπτη. ²⁴ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let the earth𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 bring forth𐤕𐤅𐤑𐤀 the living𐤇𐤉𐤄 creature𐤍𐤐𐤔 after his kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄 cattle,𐤁𐤄𐤌𐤄 and creeping thing,𐤅𐤓𐤌𐤔 and beast𐤅𐤇𐤉𐤕𐤅 of the earth𐤀𐤓𐤑 after his kind:𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄 and it was so. Καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Ἐξαγαγέτω ἡ γῆ ψυχὴν ζῶσαν κατὰ γένος, τετράποδα καὶ ἑρπετὰ καὶ θηρία τῆς γῆς κατὰ γένος, καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ²⁵ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 made𐤅𐤉𐤏𐤔 the beast𐤇𐤉𐤕 of the earth𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 after his kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄 and cattle𐤄𐤁𐤄𐤌𐤄 after their kind,𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄 and every thing that creepeth𐤓𐤌𐤔 upon the earth𐤄𐤀𐤃𐤌𐤄 after his kind:𐤋𐤌𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤅 and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 that it was good. καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ θηρία τῆς γῆς κατὰ γένος καὶ τὰ κτήνη κατὰ γένος καὶ πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τῆς γῆς κατὰ γένος αὐτῶν· καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι καλά. ²⁶ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Let us make𐤍𐤏𐤔𐤄 man𐤀𐤃𐤌 in our image,𐤁𐤑𐤋𐤌𐤍𐤅 after our likeness:𐤊𐤃𐤌𐤅𐤕𐤍𐤅 and let them have dominion𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤃𐤅 over the fish𐤁𐤃𐤂𐤕 of the sea,𐤄𐤉𐤌 and over the fowl𐤅𐤁𐤏𐤅𐤐 of the air,𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 and over the cattle,𐤅𐤁𐤁𐤄𐤌𐤄 and over all the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and over every creeping thing𐤄𐤓𐤌𐤔 that creepeth𐤄𐤓𐤌𐤔 upon the earth.𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός Ποιήσωμεν ἄνθρωπον κατ’ εἰκόνα ἡμετέραν καὶ κἀθ᾽ ὁμοίωσιν· καὶ ἀρχέτωσαν τῶν ἰχθύων τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ τῶν πετεινῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ τῶν κτηνῶν καὶ πάτης τῆς γῆς καὶ πάντων τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. ²⁷ So God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 created𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤀 man𐤄𐤀𐤃𐤌 in his own image,𐤁𐤑𐤋𐤌𐤅 in the image𐤁𐤑𐤋𐤌 of God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 created𐤁𐤓𐤀 he him; male𐤆𐤊𐤓 and female𐤅𐤍𐤒𐤁𐤄 created𐤁𐤓𐤀 he them. καὶ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν ἄνθρωπον, κατ’ εἰκόνα θεοῦ ἐποίησεν αὐτόν· ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἐποίησεν αὐτούς. ²⁸ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 blessed𐤅𐤉𐤁𐤓𐤊 them, and God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 unto them, Be fruitful,𐤐𐤓𐤅 and multiply,𐤅𐤓𐤁𐤅 and replenish𐤅𐤌𐤋𐤀𐤅 the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and subdue it:𐤅𐤊𐤁𐤔𐤄 and have dominion𐤅𐤓𐤃𐤅 over the fish𐤁𐤃𐤂𐤕 of the sea,𐤄𐤉𐤌 and over the fowl𐤅𐤁𐤏𐤅𐤐 of the air,𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 and over every living thing𐤇𐤉𐤄 that moveth𐤄𐤓𐤌𐤔𐤕 upon the earth.𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 καὶ ηὐλόγησεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς λέγων Αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε, καὶ πληρώσατε τὴν γῆν καὶ κατακυριεύσατε αὐτῆς, καὶ ἄρχετε τῶν ἰχθύων τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ τῶν πετεινῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν καὶ πάσης τῆς γῆς καὶ πάντων τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς. ²⁹ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 said,𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤓 Behold,𐤄𐤍𐤄 I have given𐤍𐤕𐤕𐤉 you every herb𐤏𐤔𐤁 bearing𐤆𐤓𐤏 seed,𐤆𐤓𐤏 which is upon the face𐤐𐤍𐤉 of all the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and every tree,𐤄𐤏𐤑 in the which is the fruit𐤐𐤓𐤉 of a tree𐤏𐤑 yielding𐤆𐤓𐤏 seed;𐤆𐤓𐤏 to you it shall be𐤉𐤄𐤉𐤄 for meat.𐤋𐤀𐤊𐤋𐤄 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεός ἰδοὺ δέδωκα ὑμῖν πᾶν χόρτον σπόριμον σπεῖρον σπέρμα, ὅ ἐστιν ἐπάνω πάσης τῆς γῆς· καὶ πᾶν ξύλον, ὃ ἔχει ἐν ἑαυτῷ καρπὸν σπέρματος σπορίμου· ὑμῖν ἔσται εἰς βρῶσιν, ³⁰ And to every beast𐤇𐤉𐤕 of the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 and to every fowl𐤏𐤅𐤐 of the air,𐤄𐤔𐤌𐤉𐤌 and to every thing that creepeth𐤓𐤅𐤌𐤔 upon the earth,𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑 wherein there is life,𐤍𐤐𐤔 𐤇𐤉𐤄 I have given every green𐤉𐤓𐤒 herb𐤏𐤔𐤁 for meat:𐤋𐤀𐤊𐤋𐤄 and it was so. καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τῆς γῆς καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς πετεινοῖς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ παντὶ ἑρπετῷ τῷ ἕρποντι ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, ὃ ἔχει ἐν ἑαυτῷ ψυχὴν ζωῆς· καὶ πάντα χόρτον χλωρὸν εἰς βρῶσιν. καὶ ἐγένετο οὕτως. ³¹ And God𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌 saw𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤀 every thing that𐤀𐤔𐤓 he had made,𐤏𐤔𐤄 and, behold, it was very𐤌𐤀𐤃 good.𐤈𐤅𐤁 And the evening𐤏𐤓𐤁 and the morning𐤁𐤒𐤓 were the sixth𐤄𐤔𐤔𐤉 𐤐 day.𐤉𐤅𐤌 καὶ ἴδεν ὁ θεὸς τὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν, καὶ ἰδοὺ καλὰ λίαν. καὶ ἐγένετο ἑσπέρα καὶ ἐγένετο πρωί, ἡμέρα ἡμέρα ἕκτη.
